Yazd City

Yazd is a desert city located in middle of Iran. It is registered in UNESCO because of Mudbrick old town and its high Wind- Catchers. However, as the city is a desert city, it has a special architecture to provide a situation for local people to tolerate in hot weather in summer. That is to say, the material to build the houses is Mud which is made with water and soil, and it keeps the houses cool. People in Yazd are most religious people, and there is a peaceful coexistence of Zoroastrian, Islamic, and Judaism followers.

  • Jaame mosque/ Masjid-e Jaame, We recommend visiting because of its elegant patterns of brickworks and mosaics.
  • Amir Chakhmaq square includes Mosque and a bathhouse. Among these touristic sites according to our clients.
  • Yazd water museum is known as Qanat, moreover, use as a technical underground waterway. certainly, it dates back to 4000 years ago for agriculture activities.
  • Fire-temple/ Atashkadeh: it is a Zoroastrian fire temple. in addition, The fire on the inside has supposedly been burning since 470 AD.

  • Alexander Prison, it is built by Alexander the great, not used as a prison but as a school.
