This palace covers 53000 and displays different periods of the history of Iran. every parts and corner of the palace belong to different eras and have a unique story to tell. However, the major part of the palace belongs to the Qajar era, during the Naser al-Din Shah Qajar kingdom.  Moreover, the other mains of the palace are Marble Throne, Brilliant Hall, Ivory Hall, Mirror Hall, and Diamond Hall.

It is very glittering to look from mirror mosaics to painted domes, you will not notice how time passes. Moreover, visiting this complex takes about 3 or 4 hours. So, that’s why we recommend coming here right after breakfast and starting your day with an unforgettable experience.

Consequently, the first thing to see is Takht-e Marmar, when you walk into the courtyard. In addition, it is decorated with Iranian elements such as tile work, mirrors, stucco, lattice windows, and paintings. There is another terrace, Khalvat-e Karim Khani, on the right corner of the same building. therein trace, Naser al-Din Shah would lay there smoking his Qalayan and enjoying the beautiful lush garden. Meanwhile, the fountain is removed and the marble tombstone of Naser al-Din Shah is brought here.

Above all, you can also find interest in the Museum of Gifts with some rare artifacts, an exhibition of European paintings in the Pond House and Iranian paintings in the Picture House, and a photography archive showing the first experience of using photo cameras inside the walls of Golestan Palace.

The Magnificent of Golestan Palace in Tehran

However,  one of the visitors of the Golestan Palace indicates on TripAdvisor:

Golestan Palace is the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Tehran. The complex consists of 17 palaces, halls, and museums located in a gorgeous garden.
The most important parts of the Golestan Palace that I enjoyed the most are Shams-ol Emareh, Marble Throne (Takht-e Marmar), Mirror Hall (Talar-e Ayne), and The building of Windcatchers (Emarat-e Badgir). I also recommend enjoying a delicious Persian meal at the restaurants near the Grand Bazaar (Bazaar is close to the Golestan Palace). I have tried the traditional dishes in Sharaf ol Eslam and Shamshiri restaurants; Both were excellent.
