History of Zoroastrian Fire Temple

Above all, the construction of the Zoroastrian fire temple of Yazd dates back to 1934. As the association of Parsi Zoroastrians and Indians funded this holy shrine. However, the fire itself has more age about 1500 years old, 470 AD during the Sasanid Dynasty.

First, the fire was in Pars Karyan, and then it moved to somewhere else.  After that, however, it transferred to Ardakan in Yazd, Nahid-e Pars temple. Finally, after 300 years, they moved it to the house of a high priest in Yazd. then, in 1934 the current building of fire temple was built for it.
